Even two or three symptoms may be harmful and the person may be confirmed of swine flu. If you find any of the symptom, even slightst cold or fever, in the present days he should be very careful and he should go to the doctor for evaluation and treatment IF AT ALL REQUIRED. If the doctor rules out flu then he can be free of worries. I am giving below the symptoms of Swine flu for information and guidance -

The symptoms of the H1N1 flu virus in people are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. A significant number of people who have been infected with novel H1N1 flu virus also have reported diarrhea and vomiting. The high risk groups for novel H1N1 flu are not known at this time, but it's possible that they may be the same as for seasonal influenza.
Emergency Warning Signs
If you become ill and experience any of the following warning signs, seek emergency medical care.
In children, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:
1.Fast breathing or trouble breathing
2.Bluish or gray skin color
3.Not drinking enough fluids
4.Severe or persistent vomiting
5.Not waking up or not interacting
6.Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
7.Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
In adults, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:
1.Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
2.Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
3.Sudden dizziness
4.Confusion
5.Severe or persistent vomiting
6.Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough-
References :
-

When swine flu broke out in my area, after the hospital established that it was going around the community, they didn't even bother to continue swabbing to test people because obviously people had it. People with swine flu will live just like any other person. Getting swine flu isn't any different then getting any other type of flu. People who are at a greater risk of being seriously effected by it are the same who are at risk for any flu bug or illness...the very young, very elderly, and immunocompromised. And people rarely have EVERY symptom that presents with a specific illness.
References :
nurse

Swine influenza (also called H1N1 flu, swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu) is an infection by any one of several types of swine influenza virus. Swine influenza virus (SIV) is any strain of the influenza family of viruses that is endemic in pigs.[2] As of 2009, the known SIV strains include influenza C and the subtypes of influenza A known as H1N1, H1N2, H3N1, H3N2, and H2N3.

Swine influenza virus is common throughout pig populations worldwide. Transmission of the virus from pigs to humans is not common and does not always lead to human influenza, often resulting only in the production of antibodies in the blood. If transmission does cause human influenza, it is called zoonotic swine flu. People with regular exposure to pigs are at increased risk of swine flu infection. The meat of an infected animal poses no risk of infection when properly cooked
